Our Team – Our Quark

You may have noticed the BRG icon, affectionately called the ‘Quark’. A quark, in scientific terms, is the basic building block and impulse that ignites all matter. They are a strong force that hold elements together and cannot exist in isolation. 

Our quark reminds us that we too cannot exist in isolation and must work together and support one another to achieve success. The 7-star design reinforces the idea of teamwork and collaboration, highlighting the importance of staying focused on a shared purpose and working in unison towards a common goal. 

Just as quarks of different ‘flavours’ come together to form larger particles, diverse individuals with unique backgrounds and perspectives come together to form strong collaborative teams. By incorporating a diverse range of colours into our quark we are reminded of our commitment to embracing diversity in all its forms and promoting a culture of inclusivity.

Kirsty Thompson
CEO

Kirsty is the CEO of Business Results Group and has been responsible for the complete digital transformation of the business over the past 8 years. She holds a BA in International Politics, and a BSc in Psychology from the University of Lancaster and has worked and travelled to over 40 countries.  With a career that kicked off in the United States, Kirsty has practiced in the field of youth leadership development for over 20 years. Following a position as Country Director for CCUSA, largely considered one of the world’s most prestigious gap year facilitators, she founded and successfully ran her own business, Chilli Adventures – a specialist gap year and youth development company. 

Kirsty brings a unique and professional perspective to her sessions.  Her personal journey as an Ironman athlete, competing at World Championship level, has allowed her to understand the science of achievement. Her passion for change and impact has found her a seat on the Board of the SAYes Foundation, an NGO providing mentorship and bridging support for young adults transitioning from care into general society.    

Highly driven to achieve, it is little surprise that Kirsty is passionate about possibility.

Colleen holds an MPhil in Personal and Professional Leadership, BA Honours in Industrial Psychology, BA Communications. She is also a Chartered HR Professional with SABPP. Her 20-year career in the field of Human Resources and Development has garnered her experience spanning recruitment, facilitation, executive coaching, skills development, assessing and moderating, counselling, and teaching thinking and innovation.

Colleen sits at the centre of BRG’s client experience, ensuring every engagement is aligned, responsive, and delivered to the highest standard. She partners closely with clients from initial contact through to delivery, translating needs into the right solutions while building strong, trusted relationships along the way. Known for her warmth, accessibility, and genuine care, Colleen creates a sense of ease and connection that clients value. With a strong focus on follow-through and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, she ensures every interaction reflects BRG’s standards of professionalism and impact—keeping clients supported, informed, and confident at every stage.

Sally Sheehan is the backbone of BRG’s financial operations, bringing over 20 years of experience within the business and an exceptional level of consistency and trust. As Bookkeeper, she manages the day-to-day financial detail with an eagle-eye attention to accuracy, ensuring that everything is precise, compliant, and up to date. Known for her reliability and dedication, Sally provides a steady, dependable presence that underpins the smooth running of the business. Her deep institutional knowledge and commitment to excellence make her an invaluable part of the BRG team.

Program Coordinator

Gcotyelwa Mdoda (Gee) plays a key role in the seamless execution of BRG’s delivery, ensuring that every engagement runs smoothly behind the scenes. As Program Coordinator and Virtual Session Producer, she manages the operational detail across both in-person and virtual environments, coordinating schedules, platforms, materials, and stakeholders to ensure a professional, polished experience every time.

Calm, responsive, and solutions-focused, Gee brings structure and consistency to complex delivery requirements. Her ability to anticipate needs and keep multiple moving parts aligned ensures that facilitators can focus on impact, while clients experience delivery that is effortless, engaging, and on point.

Brad’s professional career kicked off with him founding and building his own architectural practice and specialising in architecture for business for 15 years. 

Since 2006, he has been coaching, mentoring, speaking, and facilitating across a wide range of industries and industry sectors with CEOs, MDs, Exco, and leadership at all levels of organisations, high-potential individuals, teams, and entrepreneurs. 

His clients are a dynamic array of many of the leading blue-chip organisations in South Africa & globally, in addition to exciting early-stage start-ups and high-impact scale-ups. Brad has coached, facilitated, and/or consulted with leaders and organisations across Europe, the United States of America, Asia, the United Arab Emirates, Australia as well as the rest of Africa.

Tracey holds a B. Sc in Animal Science and a Diploma in Sales and Marketing Management. Her corporate career started in the Pharmaceutical Industry where she garnered more than 12 years of experience in Sales, Sales Management, and Marketing Management. Tracey has a background in corporate sales and leadership and brings more than 20 years of business experience to her coaching conversations.

She is an Associate of Business Results Group, and a Professional Associate at the Gordon Institute of Business Science, she has worked on numerous projects and programs, supporting leaders at all levels to optimise their own performance and that of their teams.  As an Accredited Multipliers™ Facilitator, she has worked on a range of programs and projects, supporting C-Suite Executives with challenging decisions, and Middle Managers in team optimisation.

Tracey is passionate about helping South African leaders communicate authentically and powerfully, supporting them to build their own leadership capacity and capabilities.

Savannah is the founding director of STAR Leadership (Pty) Ltd and has 12 years experience in coach training internationally and locally. Savannah is a professional Executive and Leadership Coach, and facilitator in leadership, coaching and organizational learning and development. She is accredited as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation, and Credentialed Coach and Evaluator for COMENSA. Is a Licensed Practitioner for the Science of Happiness at Work, Integrative Enneagram Solutions, and can do organizational assessments in both. She has studied an array of coaching methodologies, including Integrative Coaching, Consciousness Coaching© and NLP Coaching, and holds a Masters Degree in Business and Executive Coaching through Wits Business School.

Professionally her areas of interest are Leadership, Diversity & Inclusion, and Culture.

Pete holds an MPhil in Management Coaching, an MBA, and a BSc in Civil Engineering. He is an executive coach and facilitator with more than 35 years of business leadership experience in the construction, manufacturing, supply chain, and services sectors.

 He is also accredited in the use of the Enneagram as a development tool for both individuals and teams, as well as having a Systemic Team Coaching Diploma. In addition, he is a licensed Multipliers Coach, a Certified Conversational Intelligence Coach, and Certified Authentic Leadership Coach. As part of his own holistic development, he is also a practicing Reiki Master.

Pete is passionate about assisting business leaders to move to the next level of thinking and relationships by providing the building blocks for enhanced strategic decision-making.

Cherry is a communications professional with over 30 years of experience in international corporations.  Her career started after studying Communications and Public Relations, and now Cherry’s experience spans from Customer Services to Training, Events & Incentives and Employee Wellness, Internal & Change Communications, Operations, Human Resources, Marketing, and Corporate Affairs. Her vast experience as a communications professional has enabled her to serve companies by re-energising internal communications and boosting employee morale. 

Cherry is an accredited DDI/Deloitte facilitator and has trained in the PROSCI system as well as Kotter’s change management methodology She is an Associate Certified Meta-Coach with the International Society of Neuro-Semantics.  

She enjoys highly collaborative work environments and values working with diverse groups of people.

Her experience in Private Banking led her from Private Banking Operations Management to Business Development in the financial sector. As a member of the ICF, where she is a Personal Certified Coach, Thuli also has a cadre of academic qualifications that support her practical business experience, including a BCom in Industrial Psychology, and a Certificate in Coaching from Henley Business School.  She is currently studying for her Masters of Management in Business and Executive Coaching at Wits Business School.

She is an accredited ICF and COMENSA Neuro-Leadership and Neuro-Linguistic Program (NLP) Coach and is also a certified practitioner of Liz Wiseman’s Multipliers Leadership development programme. As an accredited Results System’s Team Coach and Lego® Serious Play facilitator, Rita has the art of connecting peoples’ geniuses in teams to work together in more responsive and collaborative ways to improve business performance.

Tammy is a credentialed Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation (ICF) where she has been a member since 2005. 

She is passionate about partnering with leaders to become the absolute best leaders they choose to be, and particularly enjoys working with individuals and teams/groups in the areas of leadership, leadership development, and transformational change.
